What happens at the session? Prior to your session we will send you an audio file that will explain how the hypnotherapy works. Also before the actual treatment we will have a detailed chat when you will be able to ask any questions you might have. The complete session including the information intake and the hypnotherapy treatment takes between 1,5 and 2 hours.
Hypnotherapy treatment is conducted in a comfortable atmosphere with a relaxing music on the background. You will be resting in a recliner chair and by following the hypnotherapist’s guidance you will achieve a hypnotic trance-like state. At a physical level everything you will feel is a deep pleasant relaxation while your mind will be listening and processing the information to liberate you from smoking for good.
Will I be asleep when I am hypnotised? No. During hypnosis your body is relaxed but your mind is fully alert. Hypnosis is a 100% consent state. You are free to terminate it any stage yourself. You can stand up and leave at any stage. Though of course for your own benefit you should agree to follow the hypnotherapist’s guidance until the end of the session.
Will I put on weight when I quit? - No. You don't have to gain weight just because you quit smoking! Hypnotherapy helps you to replace the smoking habit with good positive behaviours. The reason why people put on weight after they quit smoking using other methods is that they still have cravings and they are trying to compensate them with food and sweets. Hypnotherapy helps you to leave the cravings behind so your body can find an optimum weight balance. Active lifestyle, good nutrition, exercise and pure water are the main keys to a healthy weight.
